News
New competition: There is now
a new competition that the W.W.C.S.A. will be running,
this will be the PAIRS COMP! This will be running on the 14th May 2010!
Competition Secretary
Dave Stephenson saw his
last British Cod Championships as Competition Secretary! This will now
be passed over to Rob Thompson.
We would all like to thank Dave in the hard work that he has put into
the competitions over the years, and to making them successful.

British Cod
Championships 2009:
The British Cod Championships 2009 saw another good year with approx.
196 anglers fishing over 25 boats. There was 71 Cod brought to the
scales on day one, and 18 brought on day two. Just like last years
championships, the weather conditions on day one were ideal, which gave
the anglers a very pleasant day of fishing. As for day two, we all ended
up fishing in the Solent. Fishing was slow, but there were a few nice
fish caught and over both days we saw another successful British Cod
Championships.
